Cool New Gadgets Soundfreaq Sound Step and Sound Step Recharge Speakers – Music and Freedom

These compact wireless speakers offer different ways to listen to your favorite music and provide an option either dock and charge your iPad or keep it in hand while you stream video, music and game audio wirelessly. The dock comes with a handy removable spacer so that it can fit most iPad with cases and covers, eliminating the need to remove your iPad from its protective jacket when docking.

The speakers can also play audio from different sources including popular Apple, Android, and Blackberry mobile devices. Both speakers feature an integrated FM radio, a pair of 2-inch driver and a dedicated 3-inch sub-woofer. Soundfreaq’s very own UQ3 spatial sound enhancement was added to improve natural bass output and stereo separation. The Sound Step Recharge basically shares the same features with the Sound Step except that Recharge comes with a rechargeable battery pack with six hours of life.

What sets the Sound Step and Sound Step Recharge from other sound docks is that it allows remote streaming of audio, coming from Bluetooth-enabled gadgets directly to the speakers. Both speaker docks support Bluetooth Class 2.0 Stereo A2DP protocol that enables transfer of broad bandwidth for high digital music quality up to a range of 33 feet. The nifty wireless feature allows you to use your iPad, iPod, or iPhone to write e-mails, browse the web, listen to music, watch movies, and play games while simultaneously enjoying your favorite music over the Sound Step speakers – now that’s multitasking!

Other than charging docked iPad and other iOS devices, the Step Charge can also recharge other USB devices thru a separate USB power jack.
