Unlike a lumbering knight in full armor, the LaCie Rugged Mini Hard Disk is amazingly fast and agile; courtesy of its backward compatible USB 3.0 interface. The USB 3.0 hard drive has a transfer rate of up to 5 GB/s and can relocate a 700 Megabyte movie file in less than 7 seconds, that’s about 3 times faster than regular USB 2.0 based hard drives.
